Our objectives are:
- to promote the dissemination of high-quality research without private intermediaries, primarily through the creation of top-level open access journals with low article-processing charges (€100/article + VAT - Country discounts, see HERE);
- to prioritize standards of excellence and complete transparency in the process of open dissemination of science;
- to promote the training of early career scientists from around the world, prioritizing excellence.
To achieve these goals, we:
- will create, maintain and promote top-level scientific journals for the dissemination of scientific knowledge of high quality. These OA journals will be handled by reputed, altruistic scientists, and the acceptance criteria for submitted manuscripts will strictly be based on scientific and ethical principles. A low publication fee will be charged for the open-access articles, which will exclusively be used to maintain this activity and to achieve the mission of the association, namely the training of young talented researchers.
- will create, organize maintain and finance an international program of grants for the training of young scientists; hence, Master scholarships, PhD and Postdoctoral grants, grants to attend scientific conferences and the funding of training periods in research labs will be proposed to students worldwide. The selection of the candidates will be carried out by external experts with criteria solely based on academic excellence.
- will organize scientific meetings and conferences.
